Refer to the [documentation](https://lazyvim.github.io/installation) to get started. ## reaquires - Neovim >= 0.9.2 - Git >= 2.19.0 - a Nerd Font (optional) - a C compiler (gcc) - ripgrep - fd ## quickstart ```bash ## Debian && Ubuntu apt install gcc git neovim ``` check your neovim and git versions ```bash nvim -v && git -v ``` if not look here https://github.com/neovim/neovim/blob/master/INSTALL.md ## get started ```bash # required mv ~/.config/nvim{,.bak} # optional but recommended mv ~/.local/share/nvim{,.bak} mv ~/.local/state/nvim{,.bak} mv ~/.cache/nvim{,.bak} ``` Clone the lazyvim template ```bash git clone https://git.altogether.at/rama/lazyvim ~/.config/nvim ``` Remove the .git folder, so you can add it to your own repo later ```bash rm -rf ~/.config/nvim/.git ``` Start Neovim! ```bash nvim ``` Refer to the comments in the files on how to customize LazyVim.
